During the summer of 2014, I participated in Innovation Education's CLMOOC, collaborative learning massive open on-line course which I HIGHLY recommend to any educator/administrator. The weekly assignments, or makes, provided me with endless opportunities to learn from other educators, collaborate with them, and create my own projects. As a result, I learned a host of new digital tools and apps that I will be using in my classrooms. I submitted several of my projects to the Make Bank, an online library of projects submitted by the participants.
I was exposed to so many new apps and software programs that I created a Symbaloo webmix, an online bookmarking tool, that anyone may access and utilize. The webmix below is live. Feel free to open the links and try them out! Then, scroll down to read more about my experiences with the CLMOOC.
More on Collaborative Learning
I wrote about my experiences with Twitter chats and the PLN I have created on my classroom blog. Follow the link here to access that blog post. If you would like to read more about my reflections as the CLMOOC progressed, follow these links:
I still have not completed my post on "What is a story?" as that is a story in itself! Additionally, I will continue to post on this website, rather than on my classroom blog, regarding all things philosophical and collaborative in nature.
