A few days ago, I wrote about the data needed to play the Harry Potter-themed AR game Wizards Unite, and how that automatically excludes a population who would enjoy playing. Yesterday, I had to stay indoors (see previous post about hives) which meant I couldn't play the game, really. I had wi-fi access, but no challenges available. The game is devised to encourage people to get out and move. I love that aspect. It is a different motivator to get moving. But I didn't love it yesterday, when staying in was not a choice.
Unfortunately, there is another entire population of extremely intelligent, web-connected Potter fans who can't enjoy this game. Those who are disabled and/or housebound. Surely there is a version of the game that could be created specifically for those who are physically disabled. I can think of many ways to work around the issues created.
Does anyone know an effective way to contact the developers? I would love to pursue this potentiality.
